No. 16 / Fall 1994

For the first time a photo from a 'current' gothic thriller motion picture completely dominates the cover of Scarlet Street with Issue #16 (from the Fall of 1994).  "Interview With The Vampire" was due to be released at the end of the year.  Inside there is also extensive coverage of the then current television Sci-Fi series, "The X-Files".  A happy balance of past and present prevails, however, with "X-Files'" inspirational show "The Night Stalker", the television package which revived all the Classic Famous Monsters, "Shock Theatre", and our original favorite madman Dwight Frye.

As of this writing, although it continues to be pretty cool weather-wise, we're still being promised a warmer-than-average Summer ahead.  We'll be on hand to see for ourselves during the final minutes of June with another 'Hot' Issue of Scarlet Street to be archived (#17).  Until then, Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
